  The Solomon Islands is a sovereign country located in the southwestern Pacific Ocean. It consists of a double chain of islands, with a total of about 992 islands. The country is situated east of Papua New Guinea and northeast of Australia. Honiara, located on the island of Guadalcanal, serves as the capital and largest city of the Solomon Islands.

  9.     Western Province
